PAINTING

When painting, I draw from my own photographic archive; it has become a physical extension of my practice. I’m guided by the freedom of feeling and movement - it acts as a point of connection to myself and to the traces of non-verbal inheritance held within the body. It allows me to move between different parts of who I am, from play and experimentation to quieter, more introspective states.
